Custom Command Centers for business

Your business doesn't work like everyone else's. Your software shouldn't either.

Custom software used to make sense only for big companies with big IT budgets.

That's changing. AskMazi builds custom Command Centers around the way your business actually works—bringing important information together, connecting the software you already use, and eliminating work that shouldn't still require a human.

The accidental system

Your business already has a system. You just never designed it.

Most businesses don't suffer from a lack of software. They suffer from software that doesn't quite fit, doesn't talk to everything else, and still requires people to carry information between systems.

Keep the software that works. Replace the glue.

A clearer operating picture

One place to see what matters.

The right Command Center makes the important work easier to see without asking everyone to change the software that already works.

  • 01

    Know what needs attention today.

  • 02

See transactions, leads, listings, projects, or other important work without hunting across systems.

  • 03

Surface missing information before it becomes a problem.

  • 04

Understand what's happening without asking someone to assemble another report.

Custom where it matters.

Connect the systems

Your employees shouldn't be your API.

People should not have to copy information between software, update spreadsheets, assemble recurring reports, or check five systems to answer one simple question.

Keep the software that already works. Connect it where practical and supported. Let the Command Center become the operational layer between the systems that matter.

Integrations depend on the systems involved, available access, and what is practical to support.

From workaround to workflow

Your spreadsheet may be doing a software job.

Spreadsheets are useful. The trouble starts when one is asked to manage workflow, accountability, permissions, history, ownership, reminders, approvals, and automation all at once.

Keep the spreadsheet for what it does well. Build the system around what comes next.

Optional intelligence

Meet Mazi.

Mazi is an optional intelligent assistant that can work with information already available inside a Command Center.

Mazi can help answer questions about the business, summarize important changes, surface items that deserve attention, turn natural-language updates into structured information, draft useful communication, and identify unusual conditions where appropriate.

AI is optional. A useful system isn't.

Why now

Custom software used to make sense only for big companies with big IT budgets. That's changing.

Modern software-development tools have materially changed the economics of creating specialized business systems. What once required a major enterprise IT initiative can increasingly be approached as a practical business investment for an independent company.

That does not mean custom software should replace everything. It means a business can keep proven tools for commodity functions and build the layer where its own operating knowledge matters most.

Custom where it matters. Proven tools everywhere else.

Will Best, founder of AskMazi

The person behind AskMazi

Built by someone who got tired of doing things twice.

Will Best spent more than 17 years building and operating a real-estate marketing business, while also leading sales and operating teams in other businesses. Along the way, he built proprietary internal software to eliminate repetitive administrative work. That system ultimately reduced the administrative workload by approximately 90%.

He kept seeing the same pattern: businesses accumulating software, spreadsheets, workarounds, and manual handoffs. The work was not about adding software for its own sake. It was about making the operating picture clearer and reducing duplicate work.

AskMazi grew from the belief that modern development economics now make highly tailored operational software practical for far more independent businesses: buy commodity tools where they are strong, and custom-build the layer that holds a company's unique operating knowledge.

Start with the work

Before we build anything, we find out what shouldn't still be happening manually.

In one working session, we'll examine how information moves through your business, identify unnecessary manual work and disconnected systems, and find specific opportunities to simplify, connect, or automate the operation.

You'll leave with at least three specific opportunities to simplify, connect or automate your operation—even if we never work together.
